GM’s Dan Ammann Promoted President; Chuck Stevens on the Short List for CFO

Dan Ammann, General Motors Co.’s financial chief, was promoted to president on Tuesday. He will report to Mary Barra, who was named chief executive officer and made history as the first woman to hold that post at a major automaker.
